Our partners, Lanny R. Zatzkis and Karen D. McCarthy, have many years of experience litigating state law claims in fields such as family law, business and corporate law, contracts, professional malpractice, personal injury, libel/defamation and successions in New Orleans and Southern Louisiana. We have experience in litigating Federal claims, including employment discrimination, railroad litigation and interstate business claims.
In addition, we have represented various businesses and medical practices for years in their contracts, complex transactions, corporate governance and other daily problems which require professional legal advice. It is the philosophy of our firm to advise clients so that they can operate their businesses and practices smoothly in a manner to best avoid litigation given the cost and uncertainties of litigation. When our clients require the assistance of experts either in litigation or in their business, we have assisted them in obtaining such experts. In addition, when our clients require the advice of attorneys in areas of the law that require expertise not present in our firm, we have assisted them in finding and retaining attorneys who specialize in such areas.
